take pills according to the directions

Hmmm... what's new in the life of Ivy today you ask? Not a whole lot. Here was my schedule for today:

9:38 AM -- awaken from a late night slumber then a nice shower
10:28 AM -- decide to skip my 11 o'clock class to pack for BRITTA'S!
11:00 AM -- take a vitamin that I was supposed to take with food.. but without the food part
11:51 AM -- walk across campus to my only class of the day and feel the after effects of taking that pill without food
12:08 PM -- watch Religulous in my English 250 class
1:00 PM -- walk to the MU and eat lunch
2:07 PM -- wait for the bus to get my car
2:43 PM -- leave for Britta's!
4:20 PM -- arrive and have a PAR-TAY!

I realize that was a long-winded explanation of my day, but you're the one reading the blog, so that's your problem.

I'm trying to think if there's any big dilemma I had today. OH! So my cousin Aaron, who goes to the same college as Britta, would like me to stop and visit. But guess what? Cousin Aaron likes to not answer his phone or any text messages. FINALLY he called me back after four hours of attempted contact. I guess I can forgive him though cause he was at an event.

My car is a POS. Just throwing that out there. The speedometer shakes when it goes past 60 mph. Oh, and you can pull the keys out of the ignition while you're driving it.

Pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to do that. Oh well.

I guess it's really not that bad of a car because... well I didn't have to pay for it and the only thing I do have to pay for is gas and occasionally other fixes it needs. As long as it runs, I'm one happy son-of-a-gun.

Hmmm... what else can I tell you all? How about my obsession with post-its and chapstick? As you may have noticed, my URL is chapstick and post-its. I use chapstick everyday, every hour of my life. It is basically an addiction.

They tried to get me to go to rehab, but I said no, no, no.

(This is the kind I currently own.)

And post-its? They're just wonderful. They're absolutely great for organization and remembering things. Things like... calling my mom and dad. Or meetings. Or they're also good for remembering how much money I owe my roommate, she loves that.
So, there are my stories for today. Now I'm going to go watch Step Brothers with Britta.
"I just saw my son use a bicycle as a weapon."
